The list below includes the headline (with a link to the full text) and an excerpt from each story. Click on the press release headlines to access accompanying multimedia assets that are available for download.

  1. 2027 farmgate milk price adjustment aligned with inflation
The adjustment to the farmgate price of milk along with the adjustment to carrying charges will result in a total increase of 2.8245% in the cost of milk used by processors to make dairy products such as milk, cream, yogurt, cheese and butter for the retail and restaurant sectors. The net impact of these increases on the final cost of dairy products is unknown since prices are also influenced by incremental factors further along the supply chain such as labour, transportation, distribution and packaging costs. A change in price paid to farmers for their milk does not necessarily translate to a similar consumer price change.
  2. Zoomlion Unveils 1,600-Horsepower 9DX Hybrid Tractor for Large-Scale Farming
The 9DX features a digital chassis, core components and control systems developed in-house. Its high-horsepower hybrid continuously variable transmission technology and 800-volt dual-motor coupling system deliver peak torque of 7,200 newton-meters, supporting demanding field operations with large agricultural implements. A hydraulic flow rate of 636 liters per minute supports wide seeders, large tillage equipment and variable-rate fertilizer applicators. The tractor uses a four-track drive system with proprietary 762-millimeter-wide tracks to help reduce surface soil compaction. A fully suspended cab with independent suspension provides a smoother ride for the operator.
  3. Staples Canada Named Official and Exclusive Canadian Retail Partner for Toys”R”Us Canada and Parties”R”Us Canada
“As a Canadian company, with close to 300 stores and 11,000 employees serving communities across every province, we’re proud to help write the next chapter for a brand that has been part of childhood in Canada for generations,” said Jens Cermak, CEO, Staples Canada. “By bringing Toys”R”Us Canada and Parties”R”Us Canada into our national retail network, we’re creating an exciting new destination for Canadian families, with more choice, convenience and engaging experiences in store and online.” The partnership builds on Staples Canada’s long-standing presence in communities across the country, using its existing Canadian store network, digital platform and local teams to bring Toys”R”Us Canada and Parties”R”Us Canada closer to families from coast to coast.
  4. Starwood Capital Group and Trez Capital Announce Strategic Partnership Focused on U.S. Residential Land Financing
The new partnership pairs Starwood Capital’s institutional capital and investment platform with Trez Capital’s residential land financing expertise. It will expand Trez Capital’s lending capacity, further scaling its established residential land development financing platform, while providing Starwood Capital the opportunity to finance land acquisition and development, complementing its long-standing track record in residential land investments. Together, the two firms believe they will be well-positioned to capitalize on structural housing supply imbalances and continued residential demand across the U.S., highlighting the importance of delivering new housing in markets with sustained population growth, employment diversity and investment opportunity.

  7. GAC Exports 223,000 Units in Jan-Oct, Setting a New Record! Steadily Advancing High-Quality Globalization
As a strategic highland of GAC’s globalization, the European market saw wholesale volume surge 547% year-on-year in October. On October 12, the 91st Paris Motor Show officially opened, with GAC making a major appearance with its new energy product lineup across its three brands. These multiple strategic moves, landing in tandem, mark GAC’s entry into a new phase of full-chain localized deep engagement in Europe. As the core foundation of GAC’s globalization, the Asia-Pacific market continued its steady progress. In October, wholesale volume in the Southeast Asian market grew 49% year-on-year. 9. Tidewater Midstream and Tidewater Renewables to Combine, Creating a Single Integrated Energy Infrastructure and Low-Carbon Fuels Company
Jeremy Baines, President & Chief Executive Officer of Tidewater Midstream, commented: “Renewables was created by Midstream to build the HDRD Complex, and the two companies have operated as one integrated site at Prince George ever since – shared infrastructure, shared feedstock logistics, shared management, and a shared customer base. Today’s announced combination will complete that evolution: one company, one balance sheet, one strategy, one share. With the HDRD Complex running at nameplate capacity, contracted offtake, strong crack spreads, and federal and provincial support in place, the combined company will be in the strongest position in the two companies’ history to reduce debt and advance to the next phase of growth.”
