VoIP-Pal Granted Leave to File Amended Antitrust Complaint in D.C. Litigation

WACO, Texas, Aug. 06, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — VoIP-Pal.com Inc. (OTCID: VPLM) today announced that the United States District Court for the District of Columbia has granted the Company leave to file an amended complaint focused on its federal antitrust claims under Sections 1 and 2 of the Sherman Act against the carrier defendants AT&T, Verizon, and T-Mobile.

The amended complaint, which the Court has authorized to be filed within 30 days and limited to 60 pages, will further develop the Company’s allegations regarding the exclusion of independent Wi-Fi calling providers from the marketplace, including the relationship between wireless carriers and mobile platform providers that allegedly prevented competition.

Consistent with the Court’s guidance, VoIP-Pal will streamline the litigation by narrowing the case to its core federal antitrust claims. As part of that process, the Company will no longer pursue several counts, including the RICO claims, allowing it to focus its resources on the Sherman Act claims that remain at the center of all four pending actions.

“We appreciate the Court’s guidance and the opportunity to present a more focused complaint,” said Emil Malak, Chief Executive Officer of VoIP-Pal. “We believe our amended complaint will more clearly demonstrate that VoIP-Pal was prevented from entering the market through conduct that foreclosed competition. We look forward to moving the litigation forward.”

VoIP-Pal notes that the Sherman Act claims remain the central issues in both its carrier and platform cases. The Company believes the amended complaint will further demonstrate how the alleged conduct of the defendants operated together to exclude independent competitors from offering native Wi-Fi calling services.
