Matt Zavala founded Zavala Law, PC in Ventura in 2018 after spending nearly a decade representing insurance companies and large corporations. That experience shapes the way he handles cases today. Mr. Zavala earned his Juris Doctor from Thomas Jefferson School of Law in 2009 and his Bachelor of Arts in English and Political Science from San Diego State University in 2006. He is a member of the Ventura County Bar Association, the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles, and the Consumer Attorneys of California. He has also served as an adjunct professor teaching Civil Procedure at The Santa Barbara and Ventura Colleges of Law and as a volunteer judge for the Ventura County Office of Education’s annual mock trial competition. In addition to his trial work, he has been retained as a mediator in contested, multi-party accident cases, giving him experience from the plaintiff, defense, and neutral perspectives.
